Bala and District Motor Club are pleased to welcome you to the eighth running of the Bala Targa now to be known as Rali Goffa Dilwyn Jones Memorial Targa Rally.
Dilwyn Jones who was a key member of Bala and District Motor Club holding several seats of office and being very instrumental in the setting up of the Ranges Motorsports Centre. Dilwyn was also a former Mayor of Bala, and even though he didn’t come to the club in his later year’s he would constantly be asking the local members about what was going on in the club, so his interest never waned. We are grateful to Dilwyn’s family for donating the winners cup in his memory.
The permit has been applied for together with all of the other consents that the event requires.
The event will be a dual permit rally and is included in the ANWCC Targa Rally Championship and will be Based on the Ranges, with scrutineering / noise / trailer park and the event finish.
An assortment of well known tests as well as giving some a refresh.
Regs will be out eary April. The route is in with MSUK and PR work will commence in March.
Once again we’ll be raising money for The North Wales Air Ambulance.
This year we have already donated £1000 to the North Wales Air Ambulance.
The entry list opens on the 5th of April and closes on the 16th of April 2026.
The first 70 received and paid for entries will be accepted on the aforementioned opening dates and should this number be reached a reserve list will be opened thereafter.
