This event saw a break from traditional Ranges events using loops of 4 stages rather than the customary 3, together with some varied stage layouts. This seemed to work well and was well received; it can be expected that some other Ranges events will follow this innovative route in the future.
It was a good event for Bala MC crews who filled the top 3 positions. The only other Bala MC crew entered was Meirion Roberts / Em Hall, who finishes 18th after a troublesome day.
