[3] The classes for the Challenge will be
(A) Cars with engine size up to and including 1400cc;
(B) Cars with engine size 1401 to 1600cc inclusive;
(C) Cars with engine size 1601 to 2000cc inclusive;

[4] On each stage, and in each class, the crew with the fastest stage time will be award 60 points. Other crews will be credited with 60 points less 1 mark per second slower than the fastest time in class. e.g. a crew finishing 3 seconds slower than the fastest will receive 57 points. Competitors finishing more than one minute behind the class fastest will receive 1 point. Crews taking a maximum stage time will receive 1 point even if the maximum time is less than 1 minute greater than the class fastest time for that stage.
[5] If event classes differ from challenge classes then class placings will be revised to suit the Challenge.
[6] The maximum points score for the Challenge will be the total score from 2/3rds of the stages run. e.g. if four events each run 12 stages, then the final score will comprise the 32 best scores by a crew. In the event of a tie the crew with the greater number of higher scores, taking all scores into account, will be declared the winner. It is not a requirement that crews qualify as finishers on an event in order to score points. Crews competing in the “Trophy” section of an event will be taken into account for the purpose of gaining Challenge points.
[7] Trophies will be presented to the 1st Overall Driver & Co-Driver; 1st, 2nd and 3rd in class Driver & Co-Driver. Competitors winning overall awards will not be eligible for class awards.
